Giving our students exciting educational opportunities outside the classroom
At Na’atik we believe that giving students opportunities to use what they learn in the classroom in dynamic real life situations not only makes a real difference in the improvement of their language abilities, but also helps them build confidence and develop a wide range of personal skills.
We need to raise $5,000 USD before the end of the year to ensure all of our students can look forward to an exciting and educational field trip in 2024. It will also allow us to run a range of activities Beyond the Classroom here in the local community.
“When I was a Na’atik student the annual trip was always the highlight of the year. At first I was very nervous about speaking to people from abroad in English, however the teachers helped me build up the courage and I quickly realized that there was nothing to be afraid of. Seeing how I could use English outside of the classroom in my life and future career inspired me to continue studying. Feeling comfortable speaking to people from all over the world also gave me the confidence to leave my community to study at University.
